Since 1993, John Page Garrett has accrued thousand of hours of experience advancing
disability rights through state and federal administrative, trial and appellate litigation and legal
advocacy. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University and his Tennessee license to
practice law in 1991. Bar admissions include the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth
Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Tennessee, the
United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the Tennessee Supreme
Court. He occasionally assists individuals with disabilities in jurisdictions beyond Tennessee, but
only with special permission from those Courts to do so.
Many clients contact us for help because they find no attorney in their jurisdiction with any
training or experience available to accept this type of request for legal services.
